Me Lavin is the founding partner of the firm Lavin Gosselin.
Following graduation from the University of Montreal Law School in 1969, he articled with the fledging Montreal law firm of Lapointe Rosenstein and subsequently headed up the Litigation department. Me Lavin’s practice has concentrated mostly in civil and commercial litigation, family and estate law, as well as municipal, administrative and construction matters. He has also represented various government agencies including the Workmen’s Compensation, Minimum Wage and Crime Victims Indemnity Commissions.
After 20 years practising in Montreal, he decided to move his practice to the Eastern Townships. It was in the Town of Cowansville that he started his own firm in 1992 at 803 Principale, being the current address of Lavin Gosselin Avocats Inc.
Despite having a province-wide practice and clientele, he focuses his activities around the local population and businesses.
